David R. Yoshida is involved in all aspects of client service. Dave's past experience was primarily with Arthur Andersen & Company in Boston, where he worked for eight years. His experience as a manager in a large firm has given him a strong accounting and auditing background. Dave then worked for two years with a small CPA firm in Chestnut Hill before joining Yoshida & Sokolski, PC in 1983. In 1988, Dave became President of the firm. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University (B. A. in Economics) and Northeastern University's Graduate School of Professional Accounting.
Dave is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In addition to being involved in the various professional organizations, Dave currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cardinal Cushing Centers, previously served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics - Massachusetts, the past Chairman of the Board of the Professional Center for Handicapped Children in Andover, and an active alumnus in the St. Lawrence University Business Network and also served on the St. Lawrence University Executive Alumni Council.
